Dr. Jessica Chung, DNP, NP-C
Owner & Primary Care Provider

Dr. Jessica  Chung  was  born  in  the  great  state  of  New  York.  She attended NYC College  of  Technology  and  received  her  Associates  Degree  in Nursing  in  2009 and  graduated  on  the  Dean’s  List  for  academic  excellence.    

After  graduation,  she  went  on  to  work  as  a  charge  nurse  for  a nursing home  and a  Nurse  Case  Manager  for  a  home  care  agency, both  in Brooklyn,  New  York.    

 

She  received  an  opportunity  to  relocate  to  the  sunny  state  of  Florida in 2010,  to work  at  an  acute  are  hospital.  The  year  following,  she obtained her  Bachelor’s  Degree  in  Nursing  from  Utica  College. 

Jessica worked at various city hospitals, gaining experience as a registered nurse in various clinical areas such as, medical pre and post-operative, emergency, and post-partum care.

Wanting to further her education more, she obtained a Master's Degree in nursing from South University with a concentration of Family Nurse Practitioner and was board certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. She practiced as an FNP in primary, adult, pediatric and geriatric care.

In 2018, she received her Doctoral degree in Nursing Practice, from Samford University.

Dr. Chung was inducted into the prestigious Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society on May 3rd, 2018.

 

Dr. Jessica Chung is also heavily involved in the ministry of her church, New Life Tabernacle, UPCI and constantly aspires to help and influence everyone she meets.

She has been known to emphatically state that she does not look at the profession of being a healthcare provider as just a career, but as a God-given gift and calling.

Mrs. Kathleen Smith, MSN, NP-C
Primary Care Provider

Kathleen Smith is a Nurse Practitioner and one of our Primary Care Provider. She received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Salisbury University in her home state of Maryland. She then worked as a Registered Nurse at Nanticoke Memorial Hospital in Seaford, DE before relocating to Philadelphia, PA. Kathleen worked at Chestnut Hill Hospital in Philadelphia while completing her Master of Science in Nursing degree from University of Delaware. After graduating with her nurse practitioner degree, Kathleen completed a Primary Care fellowship at Christiana Care.

 

Kathleen has been in Tampa since 2020 and enjoys traveling with her husband.

Kathleen is also a fitness enthusiast and very passionate about helping people gain control of their health. She looks forward to getting to learn about her clients weight-loss goals and together creating a sustainable weight-loss plan.

Mrs. Jessica Mathews, MSN, FNP-BC

Jessica Mathews is a distinguished nursing professional with an extensive and diverse background in patient care, medical education, and healthcare technology. Her career spans several key positions where she has made significant contributions to direct patient care, educational development, and clinical excellence.

Her exemplary work at St. Francis Medical Center in Shakopee, MN, where she served as a Registered Nurse, demonstrates her adeptness at providing comprehensive care. She skillfully interpreted fetal monitoring strips, provided newborn and postpartum care, and offered invaluable education on a range of vital topics from newborn safety to postpartum depression. Jessica's compassion and skill were also evident in her support for women experiencing the sorrow of miscarriage or the loss of a newborn.

At the Oconee Regional Medical Center in Milledgeville, GA, Jessica further cemented her reputation as a committed healthcare provider. Her role in patient education, pain management, and case management underscore her holistic approach to nursing, always prioritizing patient well-being and education.

Dr. Karen Bell, Au.D, Ph.D.
Doctor of Audiology

Based in Clearwater, Florida, Dr. Karen L. Bell is an experienced Audiologist and acclaimed academic in the field of Communication Sciences and Disorders. With a profound commitment to advancing auditory processing and cognition, Dr. Bell has cultivated a distinguished career characterized by multifaceted roles spanning clinical practice, research, and education.

Dr. Bell completed her Ph.D. in Communication Sciences and Disorders at the University of South Florida, where she also earned her Bachelor's degree in the same discipline. She further advanced her clinical expertise with an Au.D. in Clinical Audiology from the University of Southern Mississippi.

A licensed audiologist in Florida, Dr. Bell holds certificates of clinical competence in audiology and has been recognized as an Occupational Hearing Conservationist. Her dedication to her field is further reflected in the plethora of awards and honors she has received, including the prestigious James and Susan Jerger Award for Excellence in Student Research.

Dr. Bell has consistently demonstrated her commitment not only to her immediate professional responsibilities but also to the broader academic and clinical communities through extensive research, educational initiatives, and dedicated service.

Ms.Keishla Gomez
Office Manager

Keishla Gomez is a skilled healthcare professional with a robust background in patient care, medical records management, and clinical procedures. Demonstrating a profound ability to manage patient intake, she efficiently schedules appointments, verifies insurance coverage, and processes prescriptions with precision. Through her hands-on experience in clinic and hospital environments, Keishla has honed her expertise in documenting vital signs and health histories, supporting diagnostic testing, and assisting physicians with patient evaluations.

Her adeptness extends to emergency and routine care, where she has shown an exceptional capacity to boost patient morale through engaging activities, alongside meticulous health record documentation. Besides her clinical competencies, Keishla thrives in customer service roles, effectively addressing concerns and maintaining operational excellence in fast-paced settings.

With a high school diploma from Windham Technical High School and bilingual fluency in Spanish and English, Keishla is well-prepared to contribute to diverse healthcare settings requiring dedicated patient care and effective communication skills.

Ms.Megan Klingaman
Clinical Assistant

Megan Klingaman is a dynamic and enthusiastic Patient Care Technician with a solid foundation in the medical field. She is currently seeking a role to leverage her expertise and certification as a CNA (Certified Nurse Assistant) within a hospital setting. With a GPA of 4.0 from the University of South Florida, Megan is accomplished academically, majoring in Biomedical Sciences on a pre-Physician Assistant track and holding a minor in Leadership.

Megan brings forth a proven record of reliability and responsibility with professional experience as a Medication Technician and a Certified Nurse Assistant at San Jose Gardens Alzheimer's Special Care Center. She demonstrates strong problem-solving and analytical skills, remaining calm and professional during critical incidents, and shows remarkable aptitude for working collaboratively to achieve goals.

Her extensive background in health care is complemented by her participation in relevant activities such as the Pre-Physician Associate Society, USF Chemistry Society Tutor, and membership in the National Society of Collegiate Scholars. Megan has also cultivated leadership and teaching skills as a swim instructor and team player at North Florida Swim Club. Her diverse experiences underscore her capacity to provide meticulous patient care, facilitate medication administration, and support nurses and residents in daily activities.
